- Set up the courses so that they are ready for students to begin
- Grade assignments in a timely manner
- Provide meaningful feedback
- Post news announcements with relevant information
- Respond to emails
- Conduct SLS
- Complete progress reports and fill out communication log
- Communicate with stakeholders, especially when students are failing
Student
- Cover all the content (taking notes, solving problems, etc.)
- Stay on schedule
- Communicate with the teacher when she has questions
- Complete assignments in the appropriate manner (correct format, readable, etc.)
- Follow the AUP described in the syllabus.
Administration
- Provide the teachers with the courses
- Monitor the LMS to make sure it is working correctly
- Deal with situations involving parents that are beyond the normal scope that can be handled by the teacher
- Provide professional development
- Work with the SME (Subject Matter Expert) to develop courses
Facilitator
- Enroll students in the class
- Answer questions about the student's graduation requirements (as we do not do this at GAVS)
- Drop the student from the class
- Report final grades to their school system
Parent
- Help make sure student stays on track
- Supports student and teacher
- Pay for the course or see to it that the school does
- Check student progress through parent portal
